EX 302 Public Policy and Governance Perspective on Artificial Intelligence(AI) (ft.Dr.Vidya Subramanian and Ms.Vidushi Marda)
Show Notes

In this second episode of AI, we explore the public policy and governance of AI aspects. We dwell in depth on the aspects that impact AI research such as legal implications of data collection and storage, privacy concerns among others. AI's impact at the intersection with society is another dimension that has been explored further here.

Bringing these perspectives together are two well experienced speakers - Ms.Vidushi Marda and Dr. Vidya Subramanian

Ms.Vidushi is a lawyer and researcher based in Bangalore. She currently leads the artificial intelligence and human rights portfolio at ARTICLE 19, an international human rights organisation.

Dr. Vidya Subramanian is an interdisciplinary scholar whose research interests lie at the intersection of technologies and societies. She is currently a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Centre for Policy Studies, IIT Bombay; where she studies the nature of the technological society we now inhabit, and the policies that have come to govern it.

Listen in for a thought provoking and enthralling round of discussion.
